Art Instruction
A wide variety of online and in-person creative classes taught to students of all ages and stages.

Some classes are one-off Zoom sessions where students create with everyday supplies from the comfort of their own home. Others are multi-week series to a set group. Whatever the case, we always have a terrific time!

The class was fun and well-organized, the instructions were clear, the tips were very helpful. It was an excellent class! I can't come up with a criticism.

I liked the two windows that you had going: one on you and the “spotlight “ for drawing. It was really helpful! You are great at explaining and teaching - very easy to understand.
- Renee S.

I love how open ended it is. You are very engaging and welcoming of different ability levels.

I think you see the world in a very beautiful, hopeful, fun and whimsical way. I loved the time we (two classes of grade 5 students and I) took an online art lesson from you. I loved your easy instructions but also the genuine support & encouragement you gave our students. I am inspired by the message you convey with your art, lifestyle. Please keep creating!

This student knocked it out of the park! :)

Emily facilitated an Artist’s Maker Space workshop at my alternative school, The Dandelion Café, and it was an absolute delight! She came prepared with creative, engaging projects that were accessible and enjoyable for students of all skill levels. Her approach was flexible and thoughtful, and she brought a wonderful mix of calm, patience, and fun energy to the space. The students connected with her and were genuinely excited to participate. We would welcome her back for another workshop in a heartbeat. Emily is a gem!

Emily created a 10-week workshop for our group of 25 middle schoolers. She thoroughly engaged students through the entire course, not only teaching them the fundamentals of graphic design, but also mentoring them through a collaborative design process that ended with the final product of a logo for our group. Personable, engaging and passionate about design, Emily was an absolute pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her.

I loved it, loved it, loved it! I just wish it was longer.
